If you have a customer that has a Latham Spa everything you need to know in order be make it VGB Compliant is right here.

The Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act became law on December 19, 2008. One of the mandates of the Act is the need for compliant covers on suction fittings on both pools and spas sold after that date. The Latham Round, Scalloped and Rectangle spas built up to that date were produced with Waterways suction fittings. Although these fittings were deemed safe and secure by Waterways and the industry, they are now considered obsolete. The new drain covers must be approved and stamped with "VGB 2008" to be compliant. Waterways was proactive in designing the new compliant spa drain covers and have been able to design the covers to retrofit the existing drain covers found on the Latham spas.

If you have a Latham Round, Scalloped or Rectangular spa in stock or in the field and need replacement "VGB 2008" compliant covers for them, we will make them available. We will need to know how many you need and if they are white, gray or a mix for your current stock. The new covers will come with an instruction sheet explaining the easy replacement procedure. We expect the new compliant covers in stock by the end March.
