Total Vinyl Products was founded by Dick Lewis in 1985. Dick was a very successful vinyl lined pool builder and entrepreneur who saw a need for a Mid-Western regional manufacturer of vinyl swimming pool liners. Dick combined this need with his knowledge of vinyl pool construction into Total Vinyl Products or TVP as it was known to its customers. TVP experienced year after year of steady growth centered on 4 Core Principles:

As the company grew and Dick approached retirement he sold the company in 2000 to Kafko Manufacturing, a 25 year old Swimming Pool Manufacturing Company that he knew would carry Total Vinyl Product’s Core Principles forward while providing opportunity for all of TVP’s employees. Kafko built on TVP’s success introducing new products and services to the business including:

- Coping
- Fiberglass In-Wall Pool Steps
- Swimming Pool Accessories
In 2004 Kafko was purchased by Latham International, the world’s largest manufacturer of Vinyl Liner and Swimming Pools. In addition to the products Kafko added to TVP, Latham introduced:
- Polymer Wall Pools
- High Impact Thermoplastic In-Wall Pool Steps
- Above-Ground Pool Liners
- Safety Covers
- Automatic Pool Covers
- An expanded line of Swimming Pool Accessories
Today, Total Vinyl Products is a full line Manufacturer and Distributor of Vinyl Liner Swimming Pools and related components and accessories. If you need it to build a pool, TVP’s got it! While new and replacement pool liners are the heart and soul of our business as they have been from day 1, we bring the same passion to our newest product lines as well. It’s funny that the more things have changed at TVP the more they are the same!
